Description of Unity Day: 
            Once  a year, the Unity Movement takes to the streets, has the largest  manifestation and makes the most important decisions of the year.  We  have lots of names for it, including Unity day, Democracy Day, Take the  Streets Day, Interdependence Day, and so on.  The community can choose  and decide which day it ill take place, and then every year it happens  at the same time.  This is a day to remind the governments of the world  who is actually in charge.  At the same time, we do this right in the  gray area of the law, and get the law changed where needed to support  people's rights to mass assembly and manifestations. Unity day is a day  for all people, all familys, and children, so we all have to follow the  law as closely as possible. Our primary goal is masses of people, not  direct civil disobedience, although we are open to building agreement  about the gray area of civil declaration, and following the law to the  letter.  If a government ordinance says that there is no camping or  sleeping, then we don't camp or sleep, creating camps on private land  and busing people in.  The climax of the Unity conventions take place on  Unity Day as well, both in person and online for people who cannot  travel, and this gives people not as interested in protesting an  opportunity to input their ideas and prioritize our collective community  action steps.  Also we collectively engage in mass communications and  media campaign on the internet and communications systems, with the  primary goal of delivering the message and signatures of the Unity Post  Card
