Messaging Systems Info Pad:

Creating Messages is easy and can be a fun and creative process.

The primary goal of messaging is to write out a single message in multiple forms that can be used for different types of sites accross the internet, as well as phone scripts if applicable.

There are two primary message forms:
From there we have three primary Processes for how we Send Messages:
Tweet:

The first message template we use is the Tweet.  Typically this is the Subject or Topic of our larger messages or for our emails and can only be up to about 117 charicters. Tweets can use about 140 charicters total, but the additoinal 23 charicters is usally used up with other auto links and track backs, but sometimes those arn't applicable and you can use a full 140 charicters.

We can use https://wordcounter.net/ to make sure you are using the correct number of charicters.

Additionally we like to add #hashtags to help notify the reader of the topic that we are messaging them about.

It is also possible to attach pictures and even some video to tweets, this can also be the foundation of a instagram message which has to have a picture.

Email/Facebook/BlogPost:

When writing a longer message, we can be more creative and add more content with links, pictures, or even do an HTML message, but it is perfectly fine to do a simple text based message that is simply longer than a tweet.

Many posts need a Title or Subject, and one easy way to create this is sipmly to use the tweet as the Subject or Title. In some promoted posts, the Subject is sent as a tweet so you have to make the Subject/title a tweet.

How to Send Messages:

Direct Emails, Tweets, Posts, etc...

Simply send out direct emails, tweets, or posts on facebook using your own, or a group log in. try not to post too many, but a few here and there is good.????

Email to Blog promoted to Social Media Accounts

Most of our social media accounts are linked through email. If you are asked to send an email that is automatically promoted to various social media account, then simply create the email and send it to the specific email address given.

Auto Messaging

Auto messaging is primarily done though IFTTT. This is the primary way we do outreach and to spread information about all types of activities programs with the Unity Network.  The great thing about auto messaging is that you set it up once, and it will send the message over and over again automatically.

Typically we aren't as able to use this for our natural cycle meetings and activities, but we can still have general updates that relate to information that has updatd natural cycle meetings on it.
