Unity Methodology Proposal:
- To approve the Unity Methodology and ALL related Unity Policies, Protocols, Guidelines, Systems, & Processes.
Overall:
- The Purpose of agree to the Unity Methodology is to make the Unity Network and all of its Mothods, Systems & Processes as Open, Transparent, Interactive, and Empowring as possible. Our structure is a nodular, holographic, hetrary, and we have a multi-stratigic global organizing model, so that people who don't want to be involved in the Unity Network itself, can still be involved in our Stratigic parallel Networks.
- The Unity Methodology is kind of like a "Terms of Use" button you push when you enter a website and sign up, expect it is the foundation of your participation in the entire Network. Basiclly a group of people interested in participating with the Unity Network needs to agree to the entirty of the Unity Methods, to apply to their time participating with the Network. If they refuse to agree to the Methodology, they simply are not in the right place, or are simply not part of the Unity Network, as we can help them create their own organization or network as needed. If people do NOT want to collaborate and organize using the Unity Methods and Stratigic systems, then they can easily define their own stratigic systems and collaborate in parallel with the Unity Network, that is not a problem.
- Example: It is also important to note that external organizations can have meetings and / or agenda items within Unity Sessions without agreeing in any way to the Unity Methodology, as our methodology protects external organizations to have rights within our network, not the other way around. In otherwords by approving the Unity Methodology, no one has the power to exclude any organization from having their own meeting or agenda Topic within Unity sessions, including other organizations.
Methodology:
Guiding Doccuments:
- Guiding Doccuments are the highest level doccuments of all Organizations within the Unity Netework including Consitutions, By-laws, Articles of Incorporation, and the Declaration of InterDependence. Organizations include the Community LIFE Network, Innovate United, BJC, UIS, and the Umbrella MOE.
Policies:
- Protocols:
- Protocols include all of the offical legal and essencial work that must be done to run and keep the entire Network functioning.
- Guidelines:
- Guidliens are all of the Optional but very important work that should get done, but is not essencial for the short term functioning and legal compliance of the Network.
- Systems:
- Systems acomplish specific goals, and are typically broken down into a varety of tasks that can be acomplished by multiple groups or individuals.
- Processes:
- Processes acomplish specific sets of tasks that can be done durring a single work session, even if they don't directly acomplish the overall goal of a system.
- Standing Rules:
- The Standing Rules are the specific steps that are taken within the Session of the Unity Network, including our communications systems for setting up, running, and making decisions durring sessions, conference calls, meetings, and governance bodies.
Structures:
- The simplest way to describe the structure of the Unity Network is "Glocal". The goal is to empower local communities globally to collectively make decisions through an evolved democratic system. So in that context the overall Network, it is organized Bottom Up in a cooperative collaborative model. But that is just one perspective of how to view our structure. The actual structure of the network is actually fourth dementional, and is based on a holographic nodular web-like multi-layered model, and therefore is difficult to describe in a simple way. But because it is a form of hetarchy, which includes certain branches of the network that are higherarctical, it is simple to state that the highest decision making body of the Internal Unity Network itself, which is the URA Steering Committee, and the highest level of the overall Network is the Public and Open Unity Advisory Network's Board. The legal foundation comes from the Parallel Governance System (explained bellow), with a variety of Glocal decision making bodies, which are technically external from the inner workings of the Unity Network itself. It is important to note that there are much higher levels of decision making than just the offical bodies, as any node can make decision using our methodology. Structure is only one component of decision making. Additionally this entire doccument only represents the American Liberal Fluent English perspective. All other languages and cultures of the world can have their own branch of the Unity Network and although they must agree to a translated version of this, they have full independent decision making based on unlimited versions of translations including a simple computer translation.
Offical Decision Making:
- Strive towards 100% Supportive Consensus in as many sessions and organizational Groups, and nodes, as possible.
- For Our offical voting we use a 0-9 scale. Only a 6 or higher is a Yes vote.
- An 8 is the highest level of vote and stands for "Supportive Consensus", or happy yes. A 9 is only used to express "Congruency" which means that you are externalizing the vote to all other decision making bodies.
- A 7 is "Willing Consensus", and means your willing to go along with it, this is typical Yes vote, and the primary consensus model.
- A 6 is "Positive Abstention" meaning that you may just not have enough information but don't want to block, or have minor concerns, or other reasons to abstain. A 5 is a neutral abstention, and in some cases can represent a no vote.
- Anything above 50%+1 directly gets recognition in our governance branch.
- Within the Unity Network we also have a Founders branch where the Founders Circle has the ability to implment existing policies that only exist within computer or written doccumentation that is not online, as well as existing and developing methodologies as well as protocols that only exist within the Founder Circles Councious Mind.
- This types of policy is to ensure the integrety of the Open, Transparent, Interactive, and Empowring foundation of the entire Network, and in no way can be used to gain personal power, only to ensure that others don't take it away from the masses.
- Additionally the Founders Circle ONLY effects the Unity Network and in no way has any oversight on the broader branches of the Community Network and Strategy Coalition. Additionally the Ramo branch of the Network has its own Decision Making where the Founders Circle has only about 1/10th of the total decision making power.
- Also we try to measure how people are feeling to get a take on their focus and ability to make decisions as well, this is also from 0-9.
Governance:
- The foundation of the Network's legitimacy does not come from itself, instead it comes from the evolution of democracy being equal vote of every person in existance, with no limitation or barriers to entry. From there we evolve the democratic system to be based on the "Democratic Trillogy" which balances Representative Democracy with Participatory Democracy and Direct Democracy. The Democratic Quadrilloy includes Economic Democracy, and all of that evolves into ideaocracy, where no longer are individuals bound to a single vote for themselves, but that every idea that anyone has from any background is considered equal, not just the vote, but the ideas themselves. All ideas are given an equal starting point and considered without bais. From there you can evolve democracy to blur the boundries of existance and time to ensure that death and birth in and of itself can not erase an individuals right to democracy, as is the purpose of war, assasinations, genocides, and other forms of mass oppression.
- The physical form of our governance structures take place within the Parallel Governance Systems. The Unity Network has primary alegence to the future creation of laws and polical power of these new parallel governance bodies, from planetary to local, and the decisions that they make, but they must exist within the overall unity methodolgy, and naturally exist within the local and international structures of existing legal frameworks, as unity functions within the existing legal power of our planet. This includes the creation of our Declaration of Interdependence and its relationship to all other DoI doccuments. Our highest level of legal rights are given to the individual biological person in the form of equal vote, voice, and thought of ideas, as well as basic life necessities including respect, safty, health, education, and communications. As long as individual do not take away from other people's ability to meet their own basic needs, no governance or decision making body can take away their individual rights. From here we respect all local, regional, and international laws that do not violate the principle rights of individudals.
- The primary form of existing law we ground our foundational individual rights builds directly from the International declaration of Human Rights, the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union, the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights of the United States of America, as well as other guiding doccuments that outline individual rights, freedomes, and ability for individuals to meet their own needs and have access to opportunities to accell. From there we follow a variety of basic foundational legal consitutions that oversee all other laws we support and follow. We also consider individual rights to extend to non-human forms of life including sencient beings, Large Brained Animals, Great Apes, other Animals, Large Trees and other Plants, as well as the individual existince of the Earth and her ecosystems, as described in varous national laws explaiend bellow.
- The foundation of our existing law and governance allegence comes from the entirty of International Treaties including the Charter of the United Nations, and all interconnecting legal doccuments it represents including the Internaltional Earth Charter. Additionally we stem our legal systems and structures from all democratic consitutions of the world starting with the top three democratic consitutions. The first is the primary multi-national consitution, the Treaty on European Union, which is the foundation to EU law, and is the largest Multi-national Parlement in the world. The second is the largest single country democracy, the Consitution of India, which lays out all fundamental Indian laws both in english and hindi, and represents the largest partmenent with interdependent states. Third is the current primary global power structure of the world, the Consitution of the United States of America, which when adopted was one of the most radicl democratic doccuments in existance, and is still the largest non-parlamentary democracy, which means people based representatives instead of policial parties. Additionally we consider equal the Law of the Rights of Mother Earth to all other laws of the Planet, and therefore highten the national consitution and laws of Bolivia and Equador, as well as all other national and international laws that give individual rights to Collonies, Animals, plants, and the Environment.
- The simpelist way to undertand our legal structure is that after individual rights, we follow all other existing laws, from planetary to local, local laws being the most important, and we copy the most strict laws in each locality, and apply them everywhere on the planet, to create a single set of laws that can be applied to all locations on the planet as a single network, and single legal precidence. When there is a direct conflict of two very strict laws, then we get to choose which one to apply to the rest of the world. An example of this would be that we would consider the highest level of global minimum wage to be the highest minimum wage in the world, and just apply that everywhere, which is currently about $17-$20/hr, so that there is ONE SINGLE Minimum wage law. We would just do that same thing with ALL laws. Local laws are always more important than our global single set of laws, but we do our best where its feasible, and if we apply the most strictist laws everywhere, we can be sure that we arn't breaking the law anywhere.
Node:
- Forming an External Unity Node starts with approving these Unity Methods and all the protocols that go along with it. This does NOT need to effect an entire organization, it can simply apply to a single agenda item within a single meeting, and be just a applicable.
